About Bear Creek Editing

Bear Creek Editing is located in the village of Bear, Idaho at 5000 feet on the southern slopes of the Seven Devils Mountains. Bear has a population of 14 full time residents (22 in the summer), one public pay phone, the old School House (now a Community Center) and mail service from Council, Idaho three times a week! We are surrounded by Hell's Canyon to the west, the craggy Seven Devils to the north, awe inspiring vistas, and a wide variety of wildlife. ("Bear" Idaho is aptly named!) This quiet and scenic corner of the state is home to Connie Hatley, the sole proprietor of Bear Creek Editing. Connie has been writing and editing since 1989, in both technical fields and fiction.
